Available on ARTE: Kristiina conducts the Orchestre Français de Jeunes at the Opéra de Dijon, joined by pianist Alexandre Tharaud. The programme brings together Maresz’s Recto, Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade in a compelling and colourful performance.
KRISTIINA RETURNS TO THE ROYAL SCOTTISH NATIONAL ORCHESTRA
Following her previous appearance with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, in a programme including Sibelius’s Symphony No. 1, Kristiina returns this week for concerts in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The programme features music by Pärt and Tchaikovsky (Symphony no. 4) as well as the world premiere of The Lives of Birds by Elena Langer.
KRISTIINA REUNITES WITH THE ESTONIAN PHILHARMONIC CHAMBER CHOIR
Kristiina Poska reunites with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra in a programme of Mozart’s Requiem and Bach’s Jesu, meine Freude, continuing a shared musical understanding developed in earlier projects such as Fauré’s Requiem and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.
